Muse

I hadn't really bothered to listen to Muse's new album since the last time I saw them I left a little disappointed. I picked up The Resistance about a month ago and it sounded exactly as I thought it would. It's a great album: but it doesn't hold a candle to their earlier work. It does have some amazing songs on it though.

Anyway, Muse played a great set. Filled with their little riffs and jams. The setlist is pretty Resistance heavy but they are touring that album. The lack of New Born was a complete surprise. Was one of the tracks I'd thought was a staple song for their sets. I missed the Plug In Baby balloons :( those things were fun.

The crowd around me were pretty cool for the most part. Although some of them should learn to keep a beat or to refrain from clapping along to songs. The sound on the recording came out good too. For some reason Muse were louder than every other band I saw on the day.
