This is the show that got me into filming.
At the Time (1996) Alister had a video from a tool show that I was supposed to go to from the mason jar back in 1992. He denied me a copy until I filmed a show myself in order to trade for it. Off I went with a video camera to Janes Addiction 12.04.1997 Mesa Ampithetre to film. I traded for this VHS copy.
Alister (seen multiple times in this video with a nose ring) was whom i traded the copy. He and Terry (lividz) were in cahoots back then and I think that Al had a clone DV from terrys master.
One tidbit that i do remember was someone telling me that Adam Jones approached the filmer at the end of the set and commented that the lense on the camera being used was a good one as he (Adam) owned the same model.
Props to exxodus and geordy for letting out their combined Tool collection in effort to flush out better copys. I had the same motivations when I began the Yahoo! Serious Bad Brains collection years ago.. It was a striking success with multiple videos being upgraded and the birth of an amazing compilation from BC-Hotcanada.
Please do not convert to lossy codec and distribute. Please keep original .txt file with this DVD if you intend to seed it elsewhere.
I am liberating my entire Master recording collection over the next 12 months. I have been filming since 1996. Stop by my page for schedule and updates on my collections liberation at: http://goo.gl/whjkl
